My name is Cam Arns and I love pigeons. A lot of people don’t realize how “coo” they are, but I am one of their biggest fans. I am in fact writing a middle-grade fiction chapter book about them, titled Pigeon Russet. The main characters are depicted in this drawing: Snow (left) and Russet (right). Snow is a white Tuxedo Homing Pigeon and Russet is a rare Recessive Red. The book will be available in the year of 2025, and it is about Russet’s epic journey through California.
