Rango is a bird beloved by many in the Palomacy community. He has charmed and intrigued people at public events, and everyone wants to know what’s going on with his beak! Rango is an English Carrier Pigeon, selectively bred to produce a huge overgrown cere that resembles a brain (or a wad of bubblegum!) As is the case with most selective breeding by pigeon “fanciers”, this does the bird no favors. He requires special grooming and his vision is impaired by the big brain on his beak. We love him all the more for his challenges.
