Checky is a feral pigeon was raised by humans and released. She decided she preferred captivity and self rescued. She came straight to us and is the friendliest, most affectionate pigeon I have ever known. Despite being married to her wife Murr she still preens people and loves sitting and sleeping on our heads. We initially thought she was a boy because she dances around and coos but 4 eggs appeared in their nest. We love you Checky!
