Pippin is my first bird. She is very sweet, in a punk goth metal dove way. Her fabulous hairdo is from a healed scalping before I rescued her in 2015. She was diagnosed in 2024 with an inoperable, very rare form of bone cancer. It's now been 6 months, during which she broke her leg (we don't know how). This is her recuperated, now with a wonky leg and no sign of slowing down. Lief has become very attentive to his disabled wife.
