Speck was our pandemic wild pet. We first met him in the summer of 2020 and he soon became a favourite visitor. He was a busy, no nonsense kind of guy. We watched him and his wife bring up the kids (multiple times) and saw him have a few affairs with the ladies! Sometimes he allowed us to hand-feed him, a lovely, rare occurrence. But in May 2023 he disappeared and we were bereft. So now we look after his wife, Mrs. S, and extended family, and are just so grateful for the three wonderful years we had with him.
