Pigeonnette
Entrant's Name
Ursine
City and State
Carentan, Normandy, France
The story people seeing this calendar page should read is...
Pigeonnette was found as a lonely and hungry fledgling, on a statue in a square in Paris... She welcomed human hands and had a band on her feet, so she must have either escaped or been released from a previous owner, and would not have survived on her own.
We took her home with us, and she finally went to the family home in Normandy where she can coo all day, chase around with her dove friends doves, and be the princess she deserves on photoshoots with her human caretaker Ursine, the "Mother of Pigeons"!
