Teaching kids to be kind to pigeons teaches them the value of striving for peace, kindness, compassion, and empathy. Atlas (human) and Sal (pigeon) love to snuggle on the couch when Sal's not busy helping her husbird, Pimbertree, sit on feggs. Living with pigeons in a pigeon rescue-centric household has made this kid into an advocate not only for pigeons but for anyone of any species who is marginalized, hungry, at-risk, or in need of help.
