Both Flannery and Macy are two of the thirty-three birds I expanded my aviary to take, when a Bird Club member (Beverly Fuller) died. I had been helping her place her three flocks of doves and pigeons, when she died leaving the last flock unplaced. Their fate was virtually certain. Beverly loved her pigeons, but pigeons were her passion, not her husband's. Without my intervention, they would have been set free -- to a death sentence. We all need to have a plan for our pigeons upon our death.
