Lychee, a Baldhead Roller pigeon, was rescued from Don Castro Regional Park by Oak Rock Animal Preserve, along with three other pigeons. He was the at the bottom of the hierarchy, getting pecked on all the time. He then made a comeback, becoming one of the top pigeons when he was introduced to ten other pigeons. Lychee now lives a great life with his mate, Haiku, an Indian Fantail, and flock mates. We are always impressed by his immense forehead, and feathery feet.
