I had the honor of being invited to do a display about pigeons at a local bookstore, Rebel Heart Books, in Jacksonville, Oregon for an entire month. Steve and I were allowed to bring pigeons to story time at the book store and every Saturday from 12 pm to 2 pm. By the end of the month, the bookstore was full of patrons, coming to see the pigeons. My former PMV survivor, Rogue, was a wonderful ambassador. Advocate for pigeons whenever you can!
