May is a 15 year old modena pigeon. She was saved from a horrible situation, living alone in a small wire cage inside a chicken coop. Her feet are mangled from living on wire for so long. May shook from head to toe for weeks after I brought her home. Now, she loves her cushie cage, her time out with blind birds Jake and Rosie and watching TV in my lap at night. She falls asleep there. My heart is full at the thought that May can live out her golden years in comfort, surrounded by love.
