This photo shows Willy as he was outside for the first time after spending a week in a shelter incubator (suspected paramyxovirus). He had been very depressed & was losing the fight despite the expert care. Once outside, he cheered up so much! He is still sick (a week later) but he is so much brighter & happier with sunshine & fresh air & in a home setting. Pigeons are so emotional.
