What's the story?
Pomme de Terre (who goes mostly by Pom-Pom) is a former racing homer who was found wandering in the street of a train station, narrowly dodging buses and cars. She was unable to fly due to hunger and dehydration (and her inability to find food and water). A victim of pigeon racing and scared of us at first, Pomme is now the most affectionate bird who wants nothing more than to fall asleep in our hands. She is so loved by her family—which includes her pigeon wife, Nova, and a rescued white German shepherd dog named Kasper.
