Bird(s)' Story
This princess was found as a baby and became imprinted. She’s a princess and a beauty. She likes to sit on you but only on her terms, her little feet are so warm. She’s an exotic beauty. Here’s a poem I wrote inspired by her beauty. When I look at your colors and design,
I know you came from that which is Devine.
The precision,
razor sharp,
the way each feather sits,
their angles aligned,
the way everything was so perfectly calculated,
you are a single thought,
and this universe is God’s mind.
The way green turns to violet,
the way your eyes are a tricky glass, mesmerizing me into
the parallel.
It’s concave,
It’s convex,
its my reflection,
at it’s best.
It’s God,
telling me,
How small I really am.
It’s that everything was engineered through the eyes of god and the grace of his hand.
It’s the sun and the moon’s cycle,
It’s this damn mind that is my eyes’s prison.
When I am rid of it,
I can see you through the eyes of the enlightened.
