Bird(s)' Story
We rescued Bernard from a San Jose animal shelter in December 2019. We then helped Bernard heal from a broken wing, and quickly fell in love. We formally adopted Bernard in March 2020, and after close observations making us certain Bernard was a boy, we learned through a DNA test in July 2020 that Bernard is a girl! She's keeping her name, though, since she already knows it!
