Bird(s)' Story
Cantaloupe is a king pigeon and a survivor of the squab industry. He was found along with two of his king pigeon mates, dehydrated on the streets of San Francisco. He was dyed pink, which is a standard occurrence in the squab marketplace. All three birds were found to have torticollis as a result of avian PMV disease. Sadly, Cantaloupe's two friends died soon after their rescue. But we are so thankful that Cantaloupe survived and that Palomacy saved his life. He is the most amazing pigeon and has changed our lives!
