Bird(s)' Story
Talma was found wandering the streets of Berkeley and was taken to a shelter, where Palomacy rescued her just before she “timed out.” An exceptional beauty, she was named for a renowned lady magician from the Victorian era. Talma’s nurturing personality made her a deeply healing presence for many people in all walks of life, as well as other rescued pigeons. Her legacy is hope for the possibility of pigeons as therapy animals in the future.
