Bird(s)' Story
This handsome young fellow was named Pollito after the chicken in Despicable Me. He found his way into my life on May 12th, 2016 when I adopted in from a rescue in Waldorf MD. As my first ringneck dove, he was glued to my side for three and a half difficult yet wonderful years. It was his ornery, passionate attitude that sparked the start of our instagram account @pollitokins. Pollito taught me what unconditional love was and assisted me through some of the hardest times I'd ever face, including the loss of my mother. It was an unfortunate accident that separated us, but Pollito is an angel watching over all of us now. He will forever be my best friend and my soul bird.
