Bird(s)' Story
Ava is a mourning dove that I found outside of my workplace standing on the sidewalk all alone. Upon approaching her, she couldn’t walk and just kept tumbling forward to get away. Eventually she tried to fly but couldn’t get two feet off the ground. Once I inspected her, I noticed she had no tail feathers and was very skinny. I called my boss and told him I’m leaving work early and taking her home. She’s been my emotional support pet since having to adopt out my son. We’ve been together over 7 years now and she’s very spoiled.
