Bird(s)' Story
On 9/25/18, two unnamed Ringneck doves who had lived for 12+ years in a tiny cage in a bathroom, came into Palomacy's care when their person died. They had had only a drip bottle for water and parakeet seed for food. Over the course of many months, they have learned how to fly, how to drink water from a dish, how to bathe and build a nest. They laid their very first eggs together (replaced with fakes) and learned how to nest-sit. They've learned to eat fresh fruits and veggies! We are ever grateful to the kind neighbor who contacted Palomacy on their behalf. Here are Scoop & Atom- sunbathing in their loving foster home.
