Bird(s)' Story
Twinkle came to us as an orphaned nestling with a head injury while we were helping a local rehab center with home care. He was a sweet baby and made good progress. After weeks of care, we hoped Twinkle would be healthy enough for release but he suddenly developed torticollis. Although the center recommended euthanasia, Twinkle has a brave spirit, so we worked with the center, rescue community and a wonderful vet to help him recover. Twinkle may always have limitations, but he has a big heart and we could not wish for a gentler and more loving little friend.
