Bowie has a few choice words for Bert's Pigeon Patrol.
In 2013, baby Bowie was found and brought to Medical Center for Birds, where the staff lovingly raised him. Usually, pigeons brought there are raised and released back to the wild, but his bowed legs, which inspired his name, raised doubt about his ability to survive on the mean streets. On a visit, I mentioned my interest in a pet pigeon, and they arranged an introduction to Bowie. We've been together since!
