Bird(s)' Story
Pepe (in the foreground) is a racing pigeon who suffered a horrible head injury when he flew into a power line. (The side of his face that's not visible in the photo was crushed and he lost his eye.)

Palomacy rescued him and contacted the owner based on the band on Pepe's feet. When the owner refused to pick him up or to pay for the medical expenses, Palomacy became Pepe's home.

He now is happily living in my aviary, married to rescued King pigeon Snow. Pepe is a devoted husband and namesake for my famous homebrewed wheat beer, "Pepe's Weissbier" :)
