Bear (AKA Baby Bear) is one of the original North Carolina Gypsy Campground Chow Chows rescued by Pet Adoption League of New York. With all the stinking wet fur and mud you would have never known he was even a Cream color. Those 3 puppies (Bear, Bleu and Bali) were our first involvement as a foster family with Pet Adoption League of New York - Chow Rescue. Bear had to be by Darryll (foster Dad)and so Bear ended up a foster failure and Bleu almost did. Norma (foster Mom) just had to stockings with their name on it hung from the mantle for each of the puppies, a tradition that continues at Christmas to this day. Bear loves sitting by the window and looking outside and we just happened to catch this picture of Bear enjoying the lighted Christmas tree, stocking visible in the background and looking out of his favorite window.
