Rules

Contest begins 7:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, July 28, 2024 and ends at 10:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

• Entering a photo is FREE!
• You may submit multiple entries. Entries will be eligible for use in the OESR 2025 calendar.
• Registration information shared by participants when creating an account to submit a photo entry will be kept strictly confidential by OESR. 
• Contestants must provide their name and email address so we may notify the winner. 
• The selection of the top 12 entries will be determined by electronic tabulations under the supervision of Gogo Photo Contest.
• All entries and photographs may be used by Our English Setter Rescue (OESR) at their discretion for any and all purposes without compensation.  By submitting an entry to the Contest, you are confirming that you are the sole owner of all information submitted to OESR.
• We cannot accept Polaroid photos, computer generated images, or copyrighted professional photographs.
• This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited.
• If, for any reason, OESR determines that the contest is not capable of continuing as planned, OESR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest.
• By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless OESR, fundraiser sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.

By submitting an entry, you agree to abide by the rules, terms and legal conditions (the "Rules").
 

• Photos may contain one or more pets, but at least one pet in the photo must be an English Setter or English Setter Mix.
• OESR alumni are encouraged to enter, but entries are not required to be rescue dogs or OESR alums.
• No people in the photos, please.
• Photos must:
  • Be .jpg or .png files
  • Be in color
  • Be clear, of good quality and high resolution
  • PLEASE NOTE that if your submission is low resolution or poor quality, you will be asked for an alternate submission.  The winning submission must be able to be printed at a size of 8.5” x 11” without significant loss of quality.
• Photos are preferably horizontal (wider than they are tall).  If you submit a portrait-oriented photo, it may be edited to accommodate calendar layout.
• Any image that includes content deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by the OESR Board of Directors, will be removed from the Calendar Photo Contest.
• If your pet has been "Pet of the Month" in a prior OESR calendar and you earn a "Pet of the Month" spot in the current contest, you may not re-use the same image from past calendars. You may use whatever picture you like for the contest, but the image that is placed in the 2025 calendar must be different.
  
  

• Voting is open to everyone.
• You may vote for your own pet. 
• Votes are $1 each.  There is a $5 donation minimum.  You determine if you wish to place all votes on one entry or spread your votes to several of your favorites!  Votes will be instantly converted to a vote bank, giving voters the option to vote NOW or LATER (using their banked votes).  All votes must be applied to selected photos by the end of the voting period.
• All votes are donations to OESR and are fully tax deductible and help support medical care for rescued dogs.  The email acknowledgement of your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
