Your Pet's Story or Bio
Rudy was born on August 6, 2011 in South Bend Indiana near Notre Dame University, hence his name after the famous story/movie of Rudy, the walk-on football player. Rudy came from champion blood lines however, the only hunting he ever did was for a warm spot on his best buddies bed, When our youngest daughter, Asia, was five years old she exclaimed that one day she was going to have a black and white dog. A few years later, Rudy came along and stole everyone’s heart. And a few years later, I remembered her statement. He supported her through so much over the years but especially during Covid when schools shut down and hanging out with friends didn’t happen. But Rudy was there for her. He was so elegant and graceful to watch when he chased his ball. Rudy despised car rides and thunderstorms, he was a sensitive fellow. However he made up for it in loyalty and his calm and gentle demeanor. Rudy died in May 2021 and played hard right up to the end. He is missed by so many. A deep hole has been left in our hearts and he will forever be in our memories as the best dog ever.
