When Khali was almost 5 months old, she was shot by a neighbor claiming she was being aggressive. The bullet went in through her shoulder and out in what would be the armpit. It shattered her bone. We had to make a choice, amputate or euthanasia. We wouldn’t give up on her and chose amputation. OTIS raises the money for her surgery, and helped save my puppy. She’s five now, and you can’t tell she ever had that leg to begin with!
