Rosebud, aka Rosie, is vibrant mix of dachshund and basset hound, sweetness and fierceness, courage and cleverness, and, joy and determination. A Halloweenie baby (she turns 14 on Oct. 30), Rosie lives life to the fullest having survived a spleenectomy and exploits with chewing gum, chocolate, and some questionable gymnastics. She runs a tight ship, (loudly) requesting breakfast at 6 am, dinner at 6 pm, both immediately followed by play and walks. She is thrifty and likes to store packaged goods under seat cushions for future use. Rosie is adored by her family and feared by rats.
