Gracie Lou was brought/dumped off at the Houston SPCA in 2015 very clearly having just recently given birth . Suspect she was just being bred and pups sold as she is 100% husky until owner decided she was too old or not worthy of bearing pups to be sold anymore. We happen to be at shelter looking for a playmate for our hound Master Anakin. After showing him several dogs that he had NO interest in , his eyes and ears perked up and he loved Gracie Lou immediately. The rest is history. She has been a model "mommy" to her less senior family members, mommy's foster pups and everyone she comes across.
