At 4 months old Chester was taken to Louisiana to meet the family. He had a quick connection to my mother n law, who that year became ill with bone cancer. He would not leave her side when we would visit. Months after diagnose she passed away in her home with hospice care. Chester became so saddened but when we would visit, he would first walk into the house without a hello to anyone. Walk directly to where my mother n law would sit on her favorite chair looking out of her bay window. He would sit there as if to say hello to her spirit. That habit went on for a year. We all felt it was the most touching thing we've ever witnessed. We're lucky to have such a loving soul in Chester. He turned 10 this year.
