Your Pet's Story or Bio
After having to put our beloved dog, Lily, down in January of 2013 when she was 14 yrs. old I vowed I would never have another pet. But, within 3 months my mother sent me a picture of a precious little dog that OPA had rescued and was in need of a family to love and love him. I went to meet this little dog not expecting to bond. Wow, was I wrong! He and I bonded from the moment we met. His name is Dink (after my late father-in-law, and because he's the smallest dog I've ever had). He has been my best friend, my comfort while going through chemo, and has even endured the recent flooding of our home due to Harvey. He has had to adapt to living in different homes with me the past 2 months and has been my salvation through it all.
