Once you have encountered such sweetness, how can you let it go? 'Seasoned to perfection' Sugar’s claim-to-fame is her undoing of every morning’s made bed. She loves to burrow under the covers to get near her people’s scent! Landing at MCAS late August of 2016, Sugar was 8+ years, and a black dog. She was overlooked for adoption for a month until selected by OPA for a transport to the NE. Having a weak spot for seniors, we fostered her. However skin and tummy issues held her back. But just long enough for us to fall completely in love! We are grateful everyday, that our sweet Sugar chose to love us as family, after recovering from the loss of her own. Seniors make awesome pets. Their hearts are open books ~ but it is the story you write with them, that will be the one they remember best.
