Matthew was born outside. When he was about 4 months old, he was attacked by an animal. His injuries were so bad, his back leg had to be amputated. Instead of this being a disability, he used it to his advantage! He could pivot so quickly, no one could catch him! With his silky fur, he could slide and come to a complete stop in front of his food bowl, looking up with a twinkle in his olive green eyes. If the other cats did something, he would figure out how he could do it--as evident by this picture of him sitting on a bar stool..enjoying the sun, watching the squirrels, plotting on how to get to them.
