Brooklyn is our 14 year old Puggle who is more human than dog most of the time. She is my absolute best friend and follows me wherever I go. Besides bunnies, there is not a creature that Brooklyn does not love. I am in Rescue and she is the reason. She plays an important role in teaching fosters that I bring home how to be dogs and helps me get them ready for forever homes. Brooklyn reminds me when it is time to get up, time for her to eat, when it is her nightly snack time and communicates any other need she has with great urgency! She keeps my pack in line and is the mother figure to my other dogs making sure they are acting as she sees fit. She is slowing down these days but is our baby who we will love and protect always.
