Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: the photography community was starting to feel like a popularity contest and not everyone had a lunch table to sit at where they felt welcomed and comfortable.

At Unraveled Academy we believe education should be accessible to all. We offer a cost-friendly online membership so no artist looking for high value courses and community support gets left behind.

Most importantly, we believe in the power of the misfits, outliers and underdogs to create art that will change the world.

Unraveled Academy in a global online photography school. It was born here in Phoenix, Arizona and our roots here are deep.

Ace Fanning, a local Phoenix photographer and creator of the Podcast "Behind the Secret is one of Unraveled Academy's Lead Instructors. He is a true performer and has a heart as big as his personality. He was a no brainer when it came to choosing to the face of Unraveled Academy for the EPIC 2019 LIP SYNCH BATTLE!
