Your Pet's Story or Bio
Peat joined our family in 2016. This gentle, giant piece of jet black velcro came to us from the Oneida County Humane Society. He stood taller than our young daughter at the time and, even in his youth, was ever patient with she and our son. Through the years he has loved his frequent (nearly daily) long romps through the woods. It has been particularly hard to watch him age over the past year. He now walks with a distinguished, elderly gait and dons a grey muzzle. His long walks are not quite so long. Most days he is content to lumber from one soft piece of furniture to another between naps, while keeping us in his sites. He is a good boy; a constant companion to us all. Thanks OCHS for all you do.
