Uno is a nine month old domestic shorthair. She was found wandering the streets of Denver alone as a very young kitten and brought to a shelter.
There it was discovered she had corneal ulcers in her right eye, a symptom of feline herpes, common in street cats. After the removal of her eye, she blossomed into a spunky and playful kitten. Uno braved a 16 hour car ride to northern Wisconsin with only a couple annoyed meows along the way. She now spends her days napping on her tower in the sun, watching the squirrels and playing with her nephew Duke, an 80 pound black lab. One day, she would like to become an adventure kitty, but is still getting used to her harness.
