Dart is both the clown and the alpha. He's got a mind of his own and, in typical Basset style, only uses it when it suits him!
Dart was a gift to his human dad when he was only 6 weeks old. He soon became very ill and it was later discovered that he didn't have a functional pancreas. He's been getting special medicine and now he's a spunky 8 yrs old. He's also a trickster who plays dead when he doesn't want to walk or come and he waits until nobody's is looking to steal food from the counters.
Dart was trained as a therapy dog so he could visit other kids who were also sick and had to take medicines, but he's currently retired and hangs out at home torturing his sisters, Nola and Gypsy.
