Pet's Story or Bio
Lexi was in San Antonio, high kill shelter
and Had 24 hours before she was to be euthanized. A lady who volunteers at that shelter reposted a group of dogs— mama and her 4 babies and Lexi was one of them. With her ears back and her innocent eyes staring into the lens of whoever snapped her picture… my heart broke and I knew I had to save her. I then made tons of pleas and begged many rescues over IG to tag her and to trust my word that I would come save her. Jackjackspack answered my plea, FaceTimed with me and decided to help me save her. They tagged her and took her out of the shelter and into a loving foster home. I made arrangements and flew to Texas to meet our sweet girl who came home with us back to Canada. She’s now living a beautiful life with our family and our other two doggies. Her mama also was saved along with her siblings and all are in wonderful homes… (mama is in Canada and sees Lexi often!) We couldn’t be happier with this sweet, loving and full of life girl of ours. Well… 99% of the time ;) lol. This pic was taken right after she was caught in the act—and being Lexi…. her response was to give me a guilty “I’m sorry” smile. 🤣.
