Bringing Buttercup home was a heartwarming journey. After her adoption, she was taken to Burloak Animal Hospital for a thorough health check-up, which confirmed she was in perfect health and ready to start her new life. Settling into her new home, Buttercup wasted no time exploring her cage, where she discovered the joy of beak-tapping a tiny drum and foraging in a colorful piñata. She quickly adapted to using her vertical water bottle, delighting in the new skill, and loves taking misted spray baths, spreading her wings to catch every drop.

One of the most exciting milestones has been Buttercup’s supervised flight time. It didn’t take long for her to build confidence, and soon she was flying to her caregivers and landing on their shoulders, showing off her natural grace and trust. Each day brings new moments of wonder as she explores her surroundings, forms a deeper bond with her family, and discovers new ways to enjoy her home.
