Your Pet's Story or Bio
Piper was left on a cold night outside tied to a tree where she was found and brought to the police station. At 2am Pipers new mom went and picked her up after hearing about her being brought to a kennel at the police station from a fellow paramedic she works with. Piper was only 7 weeks old then and was sick. Over the next few months she got back to good health, worked on potty training, and learned new tricks. She went everywhere with her new mom including the fire station, ambulance base, Home Depot, petco, and many other dog friendly places. She has been the best addition in her new home and now lives in Highland, IN where she has a backyard and is trained with hopes of becoming a licensed comfort dog in the future for firefighters and paramedics in the area.
