When Lisa (aka May) was rescued by NMAR she was in rough shape to say the least. Thankfully she received incredible love and care from the wonderful people at NMAR before she came into our lives. We are forever grateful to all who helped her as well as to her foster mom Cate for deeming us worthy of adding her to our little family. She has been such a beacon of light and joy in our lives over the past 9 months, and those who have known her can attest to the incredible transformation she has made since being saved from an ill fate at a high-kill shelter.
When not busy pirating, Captain Lisa Lopes is a sweet cuddler who knows her spot on the couch, but that won't stop her from getting as close to her people as possible.
Be good...she's got her eye on you. ;)
