Pet's Story or Bio
Mama gurl was a feral cat living under our house in Connecticut. The city we lived in had a very large population of colony cats. We are a military family and we were currently renting a house. I began to feed her in hopes of keeping her. It took me a year with much help from Norwich Animal Control to catch her. She had already had two litters. The first litter of three, we kept two and a friend kept one. The second litter was seven. They were brought to a foster. We used every trick in the book to get her and she was very trap smart. We finally caught her. My friend at animal control, Officer Bourne kept her so she could get accumulated to humans. We were transferring to Norfolk and we always knew that she was going with us. We got her the last week of May and we arrived in Norfolk June 26. We never owned cats before, only dogs. We can't imagine our life without our three. Mama gurl had an awful outside life and now she is part of a loving family. She is the cutest little thing but very feisty. It has and still is a lot of work adapting her to this new environment. A lot of scratches and bites too but well worth it. We can't imagine a life with out our sweet girl!!
