About Us

No Kill Houston is an advocacy group working to raise awareness regarding the very low Save Rates in the five kill shelters and pounds within the city limits of Houston, TX. We also work to raise awareness that there is a solution to shelter killing. There are now hundreds of shelters/communities with Save Rates of 90% to 100%, meaning all healthy and treatable shelter pets are saved.

We urge Houston area shelters and pounds to join the No Kill revolution and transform Houston to a No Kill community, so that Houston becomes the safest place in the country to be a shelter pet.
