The first time I saw Ruby she was digging through garbage at the curbside. She was starving to death and was badly wounded in several places. She needed medical attention. Once I gained her trust, Ruby allowed me to pet her and she loved it! Two months later she had reached a healthy weight and would look forward to her treats everyday. Several cat FB communities banded together and contributed enough funds for Ruby to be treated by a veterinarian and to get items for her use in her new forever home. Ruby has come a long way. She is such a sweetheart. I'm so blessed to have been able to help this beautiful kitty have a second chance. Ruby truly is a precious gem!
