Contestant Entry Information
- Photo entries should portray dogs in a positive light and must be appropriate for all audiences.
- We prefer that the photos do not include humans.
- No pictures of the dog doing anything unsafe or seen wearing pinch collars will be accepted.
- Digital photos are required.
- No black & white photos.
- Photos must be clear, of good quality and high resolution, 300 dpi or 1024x768 pixels in .jpeg or .png format.
- Other pets are allowed in photo but at least one dog MUST be a bulldog OR a dog that was rescued by New Orleans Bulldog Rescue.
- 2015 NOBR Calendar Contest is open to anyone who is at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
How to Enter
Photos that meet the guidelines above may be uploaded by visiting http://gogophotocontest.com/NOBR
Submit your dog's photo and you may enter as many times as you like.
Winners are determined by the photo that gets the highest number of votes. Votes cost $1.00 each, $5 minimum. See “Voter Information” for more details.
All submitted photos are subject to review by NOBR for inappropriate/offensive content.
Inappropriate entries will not be permitted and any donations related to those submissions will not be refunded.
IMPORTANT NOTES: The contest winner image will be published on a calendar and you must have a version of your entry saved with the following requirements to be acceptable for printing.
- 300 dpi required (1024x768 pixels)
- Horizontal/landscape photos are preferred
- We reserve the right to crop the photo so it will fit properly on the page
- Photos should be clear, clean and in focus
- JPEG or PNG files preferred
Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in the Contest constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of NOBR, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.
Contest Period
Photos will be accepted for the 2015 NOBR calendar contest Web site from BLANK, 2014 12:00:00 AM (CST) through October 15, 2014 at 9:00 PM (CST) for public viewing. Votes will be accepted for the NOBR 2015 contest Web site for the same time period.
Voter Information
- Each $1 donation counts as 1 vote with a $5 minimum
- We encourage you to e-mail the contest link to family and friends and encourage them to vote for your favorite contestant's photo. Also share via Facebook & Twitter and all your other social media tools.
- All donations are non-refundable.
- Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Donations and photo entries for this online contest that are submitted via other means (snail mail, in-person or main Web site donation page) will be accepted as donations but not applied toward the contest. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
Reserve a Day to Honor your Bully or NOBR Rescue!
Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your bully or NOBR rescue. Your dog’s photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is $10. Reserve a day here! Days are limited so don’t delay!
General Conditions
All entries and photographs become the property of NOBR for any and all purposes without compensation. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless NOBR and the contest Sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
