Polka was the sweetest little girl out there - a true wiggle butt. She spent her days with my grandmother, "Abuela," who cooked for her daily (yes, daily!) and her nights with my parents, who treated her like their youngest child (an "oops" if you will). Polka also loved my nieces: Megan, 7, and Dani, 5. She took care of those girls from the day they were born. This picture is from Polka's 2nd birthday. She passed away earlier this year at 8 years old, shortly after Abuela passed. Their bond was incredible.
