Our Artists
Lori Rutledge Lori Rutledge specializes in acrylic paintings featuring animals, nature and abstract art. She began practicing and studying art in childhood, when she developed a passion for the natural world. Lori studied art at City College of San Francisco at Fort Mason, the San Francisco School of Art and Computer Arts Institute. Her academic syllabus included drawing, painting, ceramics and sculpture, along with graphic design; she has always had a love for color. Lori’s recent artwork has been shown at the Clayton Library, the Concord Art Cottage, John Muir Hospital Walnut Creek, Big Break Visitor Center at the Delta, and Visit Concord’s Visitor Center. Athraa Awad Athraa lives in San Francisco, and specializes in drawing in pastels. She says "As a self-taught portraiture artist, my work is a reflection of my fascination with the human experience and the stories etched into each face. Kathie Bennett I’m a self taught artist whose mediums have ranged from drawing, painting and mostly was a concentration on hot furnace glass, cold glass work and jewelry making. I have dabbled in acrylic and pencil in recent years. | |
