Cat or kitten's story or bio
Max is a senior cat, approximately 13 years old. He was rescued from Golden Gate Park in 2016 when we were part of SFSPCA's TNR program. He became our friend Jean's kitty.

When Jean died in February, we adopted Max. Had we left him at the shelter, he would likely have died there; he was withdrawn and cautious. But as my husband said, within a week of him adopting us and settling in, "I thought we'd be getting a problem child. But we got a cat!"
