Lollipop is my foster failure, having bonded with another foster failure when here for a prolonged period waiting for the new adoption center to open. Not only did she bond with and care for my special needs kitty Dusty, she also mothered the next litters of foster kittens, sitting in the kennel with them for hours, comforting them. She also visited my aging father with me, laying in the bed with him for hours, offering him comfort in his last days. His memory was fading during that time, but he remembered Lollipop's visit for long after words. He passed away three months after her
